Carbonless paper works through a chemical reaction between two different coatings. As a professional Carbonless Paper Manufacturer, our process involves micro-encapsulated dye or ink on the back of the top sheet (CB - Coated Back) and a clay coating on the front of the bottom sheet (CF - Coated Front). When pressure is applied by a pen or a dot-matrix printer, the capsules burst, and the dye reacts with the clay to create a permanent image. For multi-part forms, we provide CFB (Coated Front and Back) intermediate sheets.
